Step 4: Clean the Blower Fan and Housing

Open the blower compartment and use the vacuum to remove dust from the fan blades and motor housing. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Buildup here unbalances the fan, creates noise, and can reduce airflow across the coil.

Step 5: Reassemble, Power On, and Test

Once all parts are dry, put the unit back together. Restore power and run the system on cool for about fifteen minutes.
