Who Benefits Most
Anyone flying for more than four hours can benefit, but risk rises with age, obesity, pregnancy, recent surgery, or a personal or family history of blood clots. People on hormonal contraception or those who are dehydrated also face higher risk.
When and How to Wear Them

Do They Replace Movement?
No. Compression socks help, but they do not eliminate the need to move. Walk the aisle every hour, do seated calf raises, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol to further reduce risk.
